Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Dr. Sriram G. Sanjeevi, Professor, Department of CSE, National Institute of Technology Warangal, stated that the main objective of this FDP is to contribute to the cross-fertilization between research on machine learning methods and their applications to speech processing, under the programme sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (ICPS Division), New Delhi.

Addressing the gathering, the Guest of Honour, Prof. T. Srinivasulu, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Kakatiya University, stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the simulation of human intelligence, and one of its key applications is speech processing.
